hey fitlifer! these are the does and don'tsof detoxing. let's do this! let's face it. detoxes have become so mainstream. you hearabout e'mme all over the place. there's the lemon detox. there's the cayenne pepper detox.there's the milk detox. there's the cookie diet. there's all these other detox that peopleare doing. and you'll never know what works, and what doesn't work. well let me tell yousomething fitlifer, detoxes are definitely
water diet detox, not for everyone. but if you decide to doone, i wanna give you tangible tools today that you can take away and make sure you doit right way. so by the end of the video, if you learn anything at all, give it a bigall thumbs up. and i'm giving you an opporunity to detox with me and the rest of the fitlifetv team. don't do a detox because you think
it's trendy. you think it's cool or maybeyou've seen your favorite celebrity doing it. often times these people are just as misguidedas everyone else. let's face it. there's a lot of things that can go wrong when you detox.i wanna give you the right tools so that you don't go down the wrong path. i have had clientsthat can experience headaches, mood cravings, fatigue, they feel lethargic, and if you don'teat the right food or do the right supplementation or have the right mindset, that often times,you can end up not completing it. i'm gonna make sure you complete this detox, build upmomentum so that you can continue to get along your journey to the rest of your transformation.do a cleanse that is right for you. i don't want you to jump into a juice fast, trainingyour body or getting rid of the processed
foods, the dairy, the sugar, the wheat, theartificial sweeteners, the bad fat, the things that are really bad for you. often times peoplewill just jump right into detox without clearing their body or doing a food detox or a smoothiedetox, they'll go right for the juice one, and that's often times that's not the bestway. don't workout while doing the 5 day detox. a lot of people that i talk to, they're soambitious. they get so aggressive, they're used to working out every single day, thenthey go do the detox, they still push it just like the gym , as they once did while theireating you know, 2000-3000 calories a day. i wouldn't do this. the reason is, is beacausethe detox should be used as a time to heal. it's used to be a time to have a break. youknow build up that, that internal system that
you have. a lot of people will damage theiradrenal glands, and different things throughout the year because they'll go go go go, allthe time they never give themselves the proper break. so use this to have the time to healwithin, give yourself the proper break. don't do a detox if you're coming back from theholidays or you're finishing up a week-end in vegas. i have people come up to me in thegym all the time and they'll like drew! you know i just came back from vegas and i downloadedyour five day detox, now i'm doing it. and that's totally the wrong approach. you wannaset your body up the right way to do a 5-day detox. you don't just wanna jump into it,thinking that you can get rid of all the bad stuff you did over the weekend. do a detoxto create a lifestyle. it's not about purging
that i've talked about before. it's aboutresetting your goals. resetting your body's internal harmony. so that you come out ofit a stronger, better, more motivated, more disciplined person to hit your goals tin 2014.that's why you do a detox. i look at it as a way of resetting myself. which i why wedid the alpha reset, for so long. i would recommend doing it that way. so make surehwn you do a detox, you have goals. you see light at the end of the tunnel. and use thatas a catalyst for you're full transformation. so that you could move forward gracefully.and effortlessly in the rest of your transformation as well. do the detox when you're ready. there'sa lot of mental preparation that has to take place. in advance. do the whydentity. youknow ask yourself, why you're really doing
